Other Beach Information

You can get to the beach from any of the many side streets that end at the beach. There is some public parking but unless you get there early, it can be a challenge to find a parking spot. There are bayside public parking lots on Taylor Ave and on Dock Rd. The best on street parking is along Centre St., Coral St., and Engleside Ave.

A kiddie bay beach is found just off of Taylor Ave. This is a nice place to bring young children. The water is not deep and there is not any rough surf. You do need beach badges to use this beach and there are lifeguards present on a part-time basis. The beach area also has a nice playground area.

Bathrooms are found in a few locations: near Centre Street at the oceanfront deck, bayside near Dock Rd, at Pearl St.and Bay Ave., in Schooner's Wharf, and in Bay Village at Taylor Ave.
