Harvey Cedars, New Jersey
Located between Loveladiesand North Beach, Harvey Cedars is situated along some of the thinnest portions of Long Beach Island. The community is primarily residential and has less than a thousand full time residents.
2008 Beach Badge Information
Badges are required on the ocean and bay beaches for everyone older than 11 from now (mid June) through September 1, 2008. The rates for badges are:
- seasonal badge - $35
- weekly badge - $20, good from Saturday through Friday
- daily badge - $6
- senior rate - $9 - 65 years young and over (proof of age required)
Badges are available at the Beach Badge Booth located in Sunset Park.
Beach Access
The beach may be accessed from the end of all street that end at the beach. Parking is available on most of these beach access streets, at the Sunset Park parking areas (West Salem Ave), and in front of the public works yard (Salem and Passaic Ave).
There is a children's bay beach at 77th Street.
There are showers and restrooms on West Salem Ave in Sunset Park.
